Meru Gokhale is a visionary leader in the publishing industry, with over two decades of experience spanning the Indian and international book markets. As the CEO and Founder of Editrix.ai, Meru has reimagined and improved traditional editorial workflows by blending human creativity with the power of AI. Her innovative platform has been at the forefront of driving the adoption of cutting-edge editorial technology, empowering authors, publishers, and agents in the digital age.
Prior to founding Editrix.ai, Meru held several prominent roles at Penguin Random House, including Publisher of The Penguin Press Group India, Editor-In-Chief of Literary Publishing, and Editorial Director of Vintage Books India. During her career she has championed the growth of Indian literature globally, and worked with iconic authors such as Jhumpa Lahiri, Dr Siddhartha Mukherjee, Ramachandra Guha, Amitav Ghosh and Salman Rushdie.
